Create lasting memories by turning a photo into a hand drawn one of a kind piece of art.
There is no better way to keep the memory of your beloved pet with you forever, than a one of a kind custom hand drawn art piece. Archival quality coloured pencils and papers are used which will last a lifetime.
All wildlife images are accepted, whether they be native animals or domestic pets.
Select the size, consider the space where it will go and allow for the frame. Custom sizes and framing are available on request.
Choose a selection of your favorite photos* or take some new photos with either a smart phone or digital camera. Email the images to me as large files. Ensure the photos are of high quality, I need to be able to see the fine details. Once I have had a look at the selection of photos I will produce a mock up image for you to approve or make adjustments.
Time frame for completion of your art work to be discussed when details of your needs are known to me. I do require at least 4 weeks notice for smaller pieces, longer for larger pieces.
Once the image and size is confirmed I ask for a 50% booking fee which is non-refundable once the drawing process has started. An invoice will be sent to you via email. Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
I will send progress photos to you as soon as I start the drawing. If at any stage of the process you have questions please do not hesitate to get in touch by either messaging or talking over the phone.
Once the portrait is complete and you are happy to receive the final product, the balance of the invoice is required. Once payment has been received, the portrait will be shipped to you.
The Process
* COPYRIGHT - All images you send to me must be your own or images you have written permission to use from the photographer (i.e. from a photo-shoot). Images can also be sourced from the internet on royalty free sites like Pixabay, or you can pay for licences on sites like iStock. You may also contact photographers through Instagram and ask for permission to use their image, they may charge a fee. I am happy to assist you finding the appropriate reference image if you have a particular image in mind.
Price Guide
Prices are based on one subject, and the sizes are based on paper size. Additional subjects, elements or a backgrounds will incur additional costs. Please contact me so we can discuss your desired requirements and I can work out a quote for you. The final drawings are unframed and unmounted. I am happy to discuss and organise framing for you.
The price includes assistance with selecting reference photos and composition of the final drawing. Professional artist grade materials and regular updates on the progression of your drawing. Postage is included within Australia for unframed pieces. Smaller pieces are flat packed whereas larger pieces are rolled into large mailing tubes.
