"Scoot" is a celebration of the Tasmanian platypus and its enchanting life in the Hobart Rivulet. This unique creature, with its blend of mammalian and avian characteristics, represents the wondrous diversity of nature. The Hobart Rivulet provides a serene and sheltered habitat where "Scoot" thrives, navigating through the cool, clear waters with effortless grace and agility.
In this piece, the platypus's distinctive features – the duck-bill, webbed feet, and otter-like body – are highlighted to showcase its unparalleled design and adaptability. By illustrating "Scoot" in its natural habitat, I hope to foster a greater appreciation for the platypus and the importance of preserving their environment, particularly the pristine waters of the Hobart Rivulet.

This print has been created from an original colour pencil drawing on drafting film (2023).
Prints are produced locally using the highest quality cotton rag paper or with archival pigment inks with a fade resistant life of up to and exceeding 100 years.
The surface of the printed cotton rag paper is delicate and needs to be handled with care. It is recommended the prints are delivered to a professional framer. To avoid reflections from the glass, it is highly recommended AR70 non-reflective glass is used.
Prints are printed on demand, please allow 10-15 days for prints to arrive within Australia. A4 and A3 prints will be posted flat in a rigid mailer, A2 prints will be rolled into a mail tube.
